Day bed

Polly is sporting one of the new doggie day beds that arrived today. They will reside downstairs to save me lugging the other ones up and down all the the time. Basil is doing better today, still limping but presumably not in as much pain as he's doing all his usual things, including upturning the bin in the study and getting in it in pursuit of a food wrapper.

As for me, I've made good use of the time stuck at home and prepared my application to join the CIfA, the professional body for archaeologists. After the time and effort I've put in I do hope they accept me or I'll be very disheartened!
