Finally...

...I have a new fusebox! I asked the landlord to get me a new one over 3 years ago and he never did anything about it, but the all the flat electrics had to be checked last month and thankfully the electrician agreed that it needed updated. I asked him today how old he thought it was, and he said about 50 years! As it had wires, not switches, there was no way I was touching it if anything went wrong, so I had to get the letting agency to send out an electrician each time - not sure how the landlord thought that was a better option?! But then I don't really understand most of his decisions...
The electric meter that was hanging off the wall has now been fixed too -  hurrah! No more worrying about it falling on my head when I open the cupboard to take a reading!

I know I haven't updated Blip for such a long time, but I've just found some photos on my phone while I was downloading something else, so I might do a bit of backblipping over the next few days!

Right, back to revising infectious diseases for Saturday's mini exam. Anyone want to help me learn about pus and crusty things?
