On guard

Walking along the river Nene we came across this female swan diligently guarding her three eggs. Perhaps she was allowing some air to circulate around the eggs as someone suggested that they sometimes need to cool off a bit. This was quite a small clutch as sometimes swans can produce around nine cygnets. I hope these all hatch out.

Attitudes seem to be hardening on both sides with Brexit. I wish the election was over already.
