Blue sky and sea

We arrived in Rosslare before 7am, (having only managed a couple of hours sleep) and were off the ferry and looking for food by 7.30.  Unfortunately, nearly everything was still shut.  We did eventually find an "American diner" style cafe and enjoyed a good cooked breakfast.

We then opted to include some scenic bits en route to our first lodgings.  With difficulty, having attempted to buy a road atlas of Ireland at a garage without success (who uses a road atlas these days?  Everyone relies on google maps) we found our way through Waterford to Tramore, and then along the "copper coast route".  There was a wicked wind blowing, but the sun was glorious.

We finished up in Dungarvan, where we found a rather nice cafe on the harbour side making their own bread (we bought a loaf for tomorrow) and some wicked pies and cakes.

At that point we decided we would give up on the scenic drive, and just head to our lodging as fast as possible, as we were too tired to enjoy it.  Now safely ensconced, and looking forward to a long sleep, followed by a lazy day tomorrow.
