A dull walkway to the even duller Marks & Spencer!

On this dull day I thought I'd treat myself to some new clothes and headed to M & S. 
Half an hour later the the only thing duller than the day was my mood after I walked out without being inspired to buy a single thing.
Is it just me, or has M & S lost its way with it's dreary range of casual clothing?
