Oystercatcher amongst the daisies

What a gorgeous day today ! Lots of sun and no real need of a jacket. Unfortunately this was also the day that husband needed to work, so we didn't have time to go anywhere. But I made a round around the estate looking for real wild wildlife. There are plenty of birds around, seagulls, starlings, yesterday we saw a very tired looking swallow and there are some oystercatchers around, although not with a nest on the pebbles under one of the houses as they had twice in earlier years. This one was doing a kind of dance on the grass, like s/he was tapdancing. I'm wondering if that is a trick to get worms to emerge ...
