Through a window in time!

Had a lovely day in the beautiful Scottish Borders, first of all visited Floors Castle, which I blipped end of August, beautiful furnishings, then stopped at Scott's View overlooking the Eildon Hills & River Tweed, then lunch at new visitor centre at Abbotsford, Home of Sir Walter Scott novelist, visited Melrose Abbey & Rosslyn Chapel in way back to Edinburgh, busy day indeed!

When I took this photo in Melrose Abbey I must have been leaning to the left! Photo is not the best, however it shows the beautiful detail of the arch window & one of the Eildon hills in the background! Shows how close the hills are to Melrose, it is a charming wee town!

Weather was kind, no rain till evening on my way home!
