Lovely Larvae!

Size: About the length of my forefinger!

This is strictly not a Caterpillar because it will transform into a moth, found on some Willow herb. I have decided to adopt this little guy and spent the afternoon making him a habitat to make his Cocoon. I got a really big plastic box and half filled it with soil then gathered some large leaves to maybe help him make his Cocoon, then pushed some small sticks for the moth to climb up to dry his wings out when he comes out. Finally i stabbed many air holes into the lid with a nail. Hopefully by tomorrow he will have buried himself in the soil and started to pupate! It isn't really containing him in such a small space because he will probably have made his Cocoon by tomorrow, come may we shall hopefully have a beautiful moth which i shall then release into the wild!
