Wide Angle Wednesday . . .Y is for Yellow

As I was out and about today I went to Isle House and park to find a wide angle opportunity. Thomas Marsden, a watchmaker from Hensingham in Cumbria England arrived in Nelson in December 1842.  By 1848 he had land and was planning a 12 acre park.  He was responsible for planting the specimen trees that I saw today.  The park has a number of New Zealand's oldest exotic trees.  The house started out as a four room cottage.  It was a delightful wander among the trees but it was this pic I liked.
