Doodlebug

This is the Fieseler Fi103, better known as the V1 "Doodlebug" Flying Bomb. It was on the 13th June 1944, that the first attack on London by this weapon occurred, and right up to the end of the war, the weapon continued to be seen in the skies over SE England. This is a replica at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, where I spent a very pleasant afternoon wandering around. If you've never been, go there for a day, its great.
