Misty .....

The start of the day of the country park was a little misty. Didn't bother Lili, she was happy to run around and chase the ball.

Tub club - stayed the same (no more to say!).

Home for lunch with hubby.

This afternoon a trip to one of our lace members. For the past year she has been the programme secretary and as we have a committee meeting tomorrow needed to be up to date with arrangements. She is a lady of more mature years and had just got back from the doctors. Having had a blood test last week she had been called in for a further test and appointment with GP. He has prescribed her some strong pain relief but said he couldn't rule out sinister diagnosis (the big C) until all the tests are back. In the meantime she is to just to get on. She isn't able to drive at the moment, so is a tad frustrated. I think my turning up after the appointment, with a bunch of tulips and stopping for a good chat and a cup of coffee, was a good tonic for her.

Work tomorrow (I could get used to a one day week)!
