Carmarthen

A lovely dragon on a roundabout in Carmarthen.

We travelled down from Norfolk, to catch the overnight ferry from Pembroke to Rosslare.  It doesn't leave till gone 2 in the morning, and as far as I could gather, we can't board much more than an hour before departure.  

So having arrived in Carmarthen before 7pm, we parked up, used the loos in the Falcon Hotel, then went for a walk around.  We had travelled through some pretty grey weather, though no rain.  But the sun was shining in a lovely blue sky as it set in Carmarthen.  I hope that is setting a precedent for the next 2 weeks in Ireland.

Then back to The Falcon for our dinner - nice meal.  And now we are sitting in the lounge, drinking coffee and whiling away the next hour or so before we set off to travel the last 40 miles or so.
