Red Squirrels in Scottish Highlands

Red squirrels were busy collecting nuts outside Gill and Dave Hunt's studio when we called on them this afternoon.

They live in Killin, a spectacularly beautiful part of Scotland, and today was the last day of Perthshire Open studios.

I couldn't resist getting my camera out to photograph the wildlife: heron, jays, chaffinches, red squirrels, rabbits and even stoats.

Gill is planning to install a web-camera linked to their website for both Gill and Dave are photographers who quit their life in television "down south" for a better quality of life in Scotland.

And in Killin they have certainly found it.
