Lamb Biryani

Dinner this evening was to be home made Lamb Biryani made with our own home produced lamb, but a day spent too long on the beach and a slight miscalculation on the time to make the Biryani - much too long for boys with school tomorrow. The resulting meal was oven fish (tasteless), oven chips (very nearly tasteless), left over potatoes, roasted and fresh beans (very tasty) from the garden. A lovely brown meal.

Well we had been to the beach - so perhaps fish and chips was appropriate. But they don't have real fish and chip shops here in France - one of the first places we head for on trips back to the UK.
