Seasoned

Seasons changes are now fast approaching.
As fools come out and predict your arriving.
Based on dates from months in the calendar.
Your appearances, brief and quite spectacular.

For Mother Nature has bestowed upon us a gift.
Helped and aided by the natural Earth's shift.
Life for some and maybe death for others.
The ground in conflict but later recovers.

For as we leave the halcyon Summer bloom.
The nights get longer as the Autumn days loom.
As the blooms try to hold onto their vibrant colours.
A change has already began within their structures.

The shorter day envelops life to give us a colour change.
As the nutrients in the leaves, with the trees do exchange.
Resulting in a blanket of colour as the trees change in batches.
Tints of reds and golds, adorn branches before final despatches.

The Sun makes no effort to climb the horizon.
The warmth of its rays are lost to enliven.
With a goodbye to Summer and lets await the Fall.
The chill in the air, draws the heat from the hall.

A cyclic voyage through the stars and around our Sun.
An eliptical orbit,begins a repetitive journey for everyone.
The annual Four Seasons named with only two that rhyme.
Nature gives us change of scenes, like some pantomime.
