Day 56: Botanic Gardens

Richer and more tactile in large.

I really struggled to choose today... I visited the Botanic Gardens with my mother in the middle of the afternoon (yay!) and revelled in the colours and shapes on show.

Highlights:
Bleeding hearts: pink (/colourful) and white (/pale)
Ferns: fuzzy fiddleheads, curled crozier, and furled fronds
Birds: mallard macro, greylag (and gnats) in the gardens, and perky blackbird
Bees in flight: bumble bee & hairy-footed flower bee
Other flowers: Allium, Anemone, and unidentified intriguing inflorescence
Glass house: Hibiscus, cactus flowers, and swirling succulent shapes
