May Day

A nicer spell of weather today. I had a short stroll from home this afternoon - there were so many shades of green across the landscape in some fine light. The rape field with its acid yellow really set off the range of colours.
PS I've relegated my original photo to extras, as I managed my first "live" shot of one of our garden badgers - before midnight too. He arrived before I'd got set up properly -  finished the nuts I'd put out for him and was setting about the leftover bird food.
