Green grow the grasses, oh
I thought I'd experiment with the green effects on the settings today and enhance the brilliance of the colour a little. It seems to bring your attention to the trees more when the emphasis of everything else is reduced to black and white.
It's been a warm bank holiday with more sunny days to follow.
I pulled the bin to the top of the drive and as I located it ready for the refuse collectors I heard a voice call, "Morning pet." It was my neightbour on her way to the nearby supermarket which she does most mornings. After a comment about the weather she hurried on her way. I often wonder what the hurry is as she lives alone, occasionally visited by her daughter and grandchildren.
There she is off out with the dog again. She spends so much time out I don't know how she gets anything done. "Morning pet." Once I've got my shopping in I'll do my exercises then settle down with my book. Now they've shut the library I've got to write at home but I'll never the next chapter finished by the end of the month if I don't get on with it.
Across the street a curtain twitched. He peered out as usual to see the goings on in the crescent and thought he knew the woman with the dog. But he wasn't sure. I think I'll make breakfast, as he dropped the net, forgetting he'd already eaten. I like toast.
