Salcombe Hill

Packed up very efficiently and left the forest cabins around 10 am. Drove to Sidmouth for our overnight stay on the way home. We found a circular walk starting at Salcombe Hill. The walk down to Sidmouth was steep but pretty and we added a few kilometres to the walk by taking to the beach and walking right along the bay. The trek back was very steep and we arrived breathless at the top. A nice walk to finish our holiday. 

The hotel in Honiton was easy to find and we had a nice view from our room. Managed to find an Indian restaurant and had a good meal to end the evening. With the earlier walk and the stroll into town to eat, we racked up our largest number of steps for the whole week.
