Fen Stroller

Mr H and I took an early evening stroll around the boardwalk at Wicken Fen Nature Reserve. We saw a squirrel and a moorhen having a fight about some snacks, many many colourful spiders busy about their spinning and a couple of 'hieland coos' who were much more interested in the luscious grass than us.

We also saw this person out and about taking in the peace and quiet of the Fen. It is a very special place.

Earlier I met some ex-work mates for a 'ladies who lunch' date. It was lovely to catch up and I felt curiously comfortable in my own skin, which I enjoyed almost as much as the meal.
