Dalkeith Country Park

This morning we went to Dalkeith Country Park for a bit of a rampage.  We had only just got through the entrance turnstile when CyclopsJnr dashed off along the bridge over the river, and into this wire tube hangs off the side of the bridge, goes right underneath and then up the other side of the bridge.  I didn't even have time to mention the "6 years and over" sign to him.  Still, while I could hardly watch, he seemed to really enjoy it.

This was the theme of the morning.  He enjoyed the little static choo choo train made of logs and the small roundabout, but it was the 20ft vertical scramble nets, enormous tube slides and other daredevil activities that he enjoyed most.  

This afternoon we went to the Helix park in Falkirk with the family 77 for some biking and more rampaging.  CyclopsJnr was still tired from the morning (even after sleeping in the car on the way home, a 2 hour nap, and sleeping in the car on the way out again) and pushed a few children.  Later we went round to family 77's house for pizza for dinner, and CyclopsJnr played very nicely with S - in fact they were quite lovely together most of the time.
