Ameland, day 1 of 3.

Weekend has started and it's going to be spent on Ameland, one of the Dutch Wadden Islands.
We (that is Annemarie, Bas, Daan and me) took the 15.30 boat and arrived around 16.20 on the island, in Nes (the capital of the island).
First thing we did was rent a bike and then we went to our lodging address, a 3 kilometers ride to the village Buren.
After that we went for dinner back in Nes and a walk on the evening beach. I have been here often but it's always great to be back on this island!
Tomorrow we have a special day ahead: It'll be my birthday. Let's see how that works out.... I'm not very keen on birthdays, especially my own.
