Great Orme cable car

We decided to take a couple detours on our way from Colwyn Bay to Trawsfynydd to check out Llandudno and Anglesay.  When we got to Llandudno we decided to get the tram up Great Orme.  We waited in huge cue to get our tickets and then were told there would be a delay due to a car parked on the tram line.  Eventually we decided to get a refund and as we were walking away, we heard that the tram was about to start running.  

We then walked to the other side of town and waited over 30 min to get the cable car only to be told that we would only be able to go up as there were high winds and they were going to stop the cable car.  Thirty seconds before getting on the cable car my husband decides to tell me that he is terrified of cable cars.  I hadn't even considered until then that there was anything to be afraid of, but then I was very nervous going up, the high winds didn't help.

We ended up getting the tram back down with a bunch of rowdy pensioners.  Never a dull moment.
