Village Frenzy

The Tour de Yorkshire rode through my village today and passed less than a 100 metres from my house.
So we could saunter around the village as the crowds gathered, watch the tour Caravan pass then nip home for a coffee and a Danish pastry before venturing back out again.
Spot chosen where to watch the race and it wasn't long before the race roared through.
What a spectacle: colour, noise and speed and then it was gone in a flash.
As we dispersed l couldn't help but think what a great place this is to live, you could really feel the usual community spirit.
Home in minutes and Mr P completed the decorating while l watched the race and our beautiful county on TV.
Even managed to spot my two Grandsons in the crowd at Shibden!
The crowds everywhere were amazing.
