Boat Caretaker.

This boat is permanently moored and the dog is usually sitting here on guard. A day to myself so I went for a riverside walk. I sat on a bench waiting to see if any rowers were about and I was joined by a lady who said she was visiting her grandchildren and was from British Columbia. She had come out for some fresh air and after an interesting chat about her part of Canada, she went on her way, jogging gently, carrying a nearly full large plastic cup of water and trying not to spill it !
