Recovering Old Photos from Negatives

C 1954 Child who is now my wife on holiday.  Extra is at her home with the farm horse "Barney" and dog Mike.
These are trial recoveries using just an iPad as a light box and the camera set to "macro".  Have sent off for extension tubes to enable prime lens conversion to macro.
No need for an expensive scanner!!
