The piano player

Today I carried on with the chore of laundering all of our holiday clothes, a task which seems never ending.  It shouldn't as I didn't wear about a third of the clothes I took!
Violet arrived  at lunchtime, after her ballet lesson, to stay with us for a sleepover.  We are all still feeling a bit jetlagged, including her.  It seems to be taking a lot of getting over this time.
I took this shot of Violet late afternoon: she can now clamber onto the piano stool unassisted, which confirms my belief that she's grown quite a bit during our time away.  She was testing out the sounds at both ends of the piano, while giving us her version of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star': she has a number of songs in her repertoire and can sing them all in tune!
