..and two of Antony Gormley's ' Beamer' series  'Big Yield' and 'Big Pluck 2' are now resident in the foyer of AGWA (the Art Gallery of Western Australia).

Today I attended a talk about sculpture in general but A G's pieces in particular at the gallery with Art Historian Richard Read.

Creator of the 'Angel of the North' and many other public sculptures I know him from the truly beautiful and jaw dropping Inside Australia

NOT to be missed for those with a couple of extra days when visiting Perth.
Despite the dirt road and corrugations, anywhere else in the world there would be standing room only and queues of cars awaiting their parking turn.
Oh and a drink at the Menzies Hotel a must too.
