They cut the grass at the verges today, but not the whins that have been obscuring the signs and encroaching upon the road.

Good news - discovered many months after taking this - that the old camera used, does still work, and does so fairly well. The previous unused film that was found in it, had probably there for thirty years... of frying and freezing in various car glove compartments. That had given awful results. But a new spool of film has worked fine. May even try a colour one in it... sometime.
