Olympic Park

Today we had tickets for the Olympic Park. It was an early start (for a Sunday), leaving the house at 8am. By 9.45am we were walking into a very hot and sunny Olympic Park :)

We had a great time exploring the park, but it was very hot. There were constant announcements and signs on the message boards reminding people to drink. We did stop at one of the big screens to watch some of the marathon, but there was no shade and the Channel 4 coverage wasn't great, so we didn't stop too long. After managing to see everything we headed off home. We were going to stop off in London, but it really was too hot for us.

All in all it was a great day. Did I mention it was hot ;)
