Mite-y annoying

Not for the feint hearted...or if you're eating.

Out in the garden today we spotted this white tailed bumble. I think its a Queen as she was massive....but also covered in mites.

I hope she was just resting...apparently they dont harm the bee....but with so many, and obviously uncomfortable I hope she's ok

Anyway....this may look good large....just dont be eating seeds n stuff if you look at it. You have been warned.
