A sunny Collared Dove

The day started out with blue sky and sunshine but gradually more clouds appeared and by the time I finished work, the sky had become entirely overcast. Fortunately, I'd found today's blip early when I spotted this Collared Dove sitting in the sun on the roof of a house as I was walking up to my work place's car park.

It was so nice to see a Collared Dove again and to be able to photograph it. They used to be seen quite frequently but the last few years their sightings have become quite rare.
