Saucy Sparrow

Out of sequence in the Hong Kong holiday, I know, but a photo I like very much, a  shot of a cheeky sparrow sitting on top of one of the statues at the Tin Hau temple at Repulse Bay, Hong Kong.

Tin Hau is the goddess of the sea under whose protection fishermen live and thrivel

I love the high key feel of the photo.

Julie and I had a very pleasant day exploring by bus 973 and ended up at Stanley Market, which was eye-opening in terms of the goods on offer. It does offer both unique goods and goods that you can't find elsewhere, even in Hong Kong.

I  bought so much, I had to buy another small suitcase to take it all home.
