Cactus Flower in the Making

My table top cactus garden will be sporting a new bloom on one of the cacti. The barrel cactus is showing signs of blooms to come, too.

I find it interesting that the blooms are surrounded by fuzzy stuff among all those needles. The softer side of the plant, I suppose.

Today, I am extremely grateful that I have an appointment on Tuesday with a doctor that comes highly recommended by friends and my primary care physician. He did the repair on Tony's chiropractor that was similar to my situation, so I am hoping for the best.
