Scarecrow Wedding

I passed through Bothwell today where it was the final day of their 2012 Scarecrow Festival. It looked great with scarecrows everywhere - the school, the library, restaurants, pubs, shops, gardens, hanging in trees, climbing the walls etc etc. Lots of happy people around.

Only slight problem was that a couple of times I stopped to photograph a really scary scarecrow only to find out at the last minute it was a real person! Oh Dear - need to take care!

I've been 'missing' for a few days after ending up in hospital at 4am Thursday in severe pain. An emergency operation was avoided when a CT scan gave me the all-clear. Its all a bit of a mystery at the moment.

Anyway, it means my unbroken run of Blips has stopped at 1219 - I couldn't even make it to a nice round number! It does however take away the pressure of a daily Blip from now on, so I can have the odd days off without it bothering me. (Although hopefully my absences in future will not be hospital related!).
