View from Yarner Wood

We were out with the local bird group on Dartmoor this morning.  We ambled very slowly around Yarner Wood and this is a view looking towards Trendlebere Down.  Some great sightings were made including Redstarts, Wood Warblers and a Pied Flycatcher.  A good mornings wanderings and a sunny afternoon when we returned home.

ps I meant to add that we met up with another group of birdwatchers who had spotted a 'yellow woodpecker' droppings.  See extra.
