Le soleil

It's a bank holiday weekend so we woke up to cold grey skies... We were going to go for a bike ride, instead I spent most of the day doing my French homework.

Eventually the sun (le soleil) has come out, but it's a bit too late to warm things up or go for a bike ride. I did manage to get this picture of an aquilegia though. It's one of the many pink forms in our garden, there were a lot when we moved into the house and I've gradually replaced them with the darker forms that I prefer but there are still plenty of pink ones left.
