NOTHING UPSIDE DOWN ABOUT TODAY....

.... what a stunning autumn day!

And thought best thing to do was get out in the sun and soak up some natural "healer" for that lurgy!!

Well, seems the bird life had the same idea.

My first check was to see if the Dusky Moorhen chicks were still around or had mum and dad taken them elsewhere? No, as in extra there they were having a great time feeding on the weed.

Then popped over to the dam, but on the way got distracted by that Kestrel seen here in Flickr taking watch over my activities.

Then at the dam, this Black winged Stilt went roaring past. Another first for me out here so pleased I got some shot.

And being the super day of course the White faced Heron were around and this guy gave a top reflection AND shadow as it took off across the dam, so used it for the blip.

So, all in all a well worthwhile walk, and do feel a lot better.
