room with a view

This was April's bivvy - on top of the hill behind our house. I reached the top just as it was getting dark and found a nice sheltered spot just below the summit. The ground was dry and nice and soft with moss and heather. The view was amazing - across to Dumfries and the Solway coast - I lay looking at the lights and thinking of all the people down there.

This morning I was woken by a Skylark burning above my head. I'm really hungry now so heading back home for breakfast :-)
