I'm not a happy bunny today.......last night one of my back teeth broke and half the tooth came away. I managed to get an emergency appointment this afternoon with the dentist, who said that he could put a cap on it ........but not until Tuesday because of the bank holiday ( just my luck :-( ) and in the meantime I've got to treat it with care as it looks quite fragile :-(((
Eating is now a bit of a challenge and takes ages, plus I'm not really very well stocked up with ' soft ' food. I'm just hoping what's left of the tooth survives intact until Tuesday.
That's bad enough but the really galling thing is that I have one of those policies that pays back a proportion of dental and optical fees but the new claim year doesn't start until the 10th May and I just can't wait that long.........so I won't be able to claim back any of the exorbitant charges grrrrrrrr ( said through unclenched teeth ) :-((
