Wire netting bush
This is the flower of a Corokia cotoneaster plant, also known as a wire netting bush.
One website describes the plant as …
Very unusual semi-evergreen shrub with very few small dark green leaves on almost black stems that ramble and zig zag their way through each other.
In fact a regularly pruned bush can look just like a scrunched up ball of chicken wire.
I found it very difficult to photograph the tiny, delicate flowers and the tangled nature of the branches.
So here is just a flower.
This was a present from a kind neighbour – thank you Janenextdoor.
