Peak Bluebell

In the woodland and hedgerow around here it's peak bluebell. It won't be any better than this, this year. In the same way we celebrate peak crocus, peak snowdrop, peak daffodil, peak tulip, well there's always peak poppy to look forward to. Never a dull moment in the garden...

Never a dull moment here neither, as we make yet another voyage of discovery into hospital - this time on the Friday before a Bank Holiday weekend - to see if they want their pen back yet. Traffic is ridiculous already, and we won't be going far for a few days. In fact we're looking forward to a quick impromptu visit from Charlie, coming home to see how her mum is. And maybe her dad too. And maybe there'll still be some bluebells... ;-)
