Rubbish day

Well, not that sort of rubbish day. It was a day for the tip (amongst other jobs). And there's always something interesting to see at the tip. Today the grab was rearranging various piles of rubbish in different bays. These modern day dinosaurs were grazing hungrily and noisily on the detritus of 21st century life. They appear to be the vultures; scavengers of our society.

The next destination after the tip was the carwash, to remove the remaining detritus from the interior and get the outside washed too. Finished off the preparations for Susan's studio, the slabs extending the base have been laid and the beds to incorporate the greenhouse are complete.Only painting the shed remains to be done.

So, despite the title, it was a very good day. Run, allotment, tip, car wash, cook dinner, lay bricks and slabs, tidy up, wash bin and finally go for a walk.
