Day 116 Enthralled Audience

Belgian photographer Frederik Buyckx has been named the Sony World Photography Awards’ 2017 Photographer of the Year for his series, "Whiteout," which captures the transformation of nature when winter arrives. 


In the alcove holding just this photo, with a bright sticker saying 'Photographer of the Year' the only person there was fast asleep. I quietly sniggered, took a photo, sniggered again and moved on.
