a small miracle

My mother had a great green thumb. She could take the sickest looking cutting and turn it into a vibrant plant. She grew lovely roses and vegetables outside, beautiful African Violets and Begonias inside.
I did not inherit her talents. I buy new outdoor plants every year, and I have stopped buying indoor plants.
So the blooms in today's blip are somewhat of a miracle. We received this Peace Lily plant 12 1/2 years ago at my father-in-law's memorial service. It was in bloom when we got it, then dwindled inside under my care, then got sunburned outside under my care, and after a long needed repotting and feeding, here it is blooming again!
Peace and Joy!
