Travelling to Stronsay

My Orkney sojourn is not over yet. I spent today in Kirkwall and enjoyed the Saturday hustle and bustle. There was a small vintage car and tractor rally in the main street this afternoon too.

This photograph was taken from the Stronsay ferry this afternoon. I've come here to stay with an old friend and his new wife. It was a calm crossing and the afternoon light was beautiful. The clouds caught my attention and I wanted to convey something of the vastness of the skies here. Best seen large.
