Purple Gladioli

An early blip as I have a busy day ahead. I spotted this gladioli when I opened the greenhouse window this morning. They are very late but the flowers are finally beginning to come out.
I'm dedicating this photo to our very good friend and neighbour Dave who sadly died very unexpectedly at the age of only 71.
