Wet and dreary day

And that's about sums up the day!!!

If you look really closely at the central reservation in the pic, there is a bridal couple in the middle of a photo shoot!!! Whatever next!

Today is Anzac Day and I only started marking this day since I got married to an Aussie! He told me all about the battle of Gallipoli and the tragedy it was. There was a special service at the cenotaph in Central at 6:15am, but Martin did not make it in for that. It was a rather wet service!

I did have to go into town however for an appointment with a knee specialist! First time EVER that I'd seen one. He reckons it's a miniscus problem and sent me off to do an X-ray. Need to do an MRI as well, so just waiting for new insurance, BUPA, to authorise that.

Then, as it was such a miserable day, met up with some friends for drinks to cheer ourselves up from the dullness of this day!

P. S. I did have some delicious ANZAC biscuits today :).
