Morning rituals

The brighter mornings are having a big effect on these guys.  Instead of waking up at 6:30am, they've been edging increasingly closer to 5:45am.  Still, at least I get to spend a bit more time with them before heading off to work.  That said, I'm looking forward to getting blackout shutters for their bedrooms!

Oops.  It turns out that this is the five year anniversary of doing this blip (I thought it was tomorrow).  Wow!  Where did all the time go?  It's crazy to think of all the things that have happened since the very first blip 1825 days ago!

I was planning to write something more substantial but I guess that's the life we live, with two young children wreaking chaos.

It's been a great journey, and an excellent community.  In the past five years we've seen the birth of our wee man and our little lady.  We've had some memorable times along the way too - especially our two years in California.  The two previous blips aside, these remain our most popular; ready to pop, happy family, climbing Arthur's Seat with the wee man, and not forgetting my midlife opportunity!

I hope the wee ones are able to look back in time and enjoy seeing our collective journey.  Thanks to everyone's support and encouragement along the way, and to Nikki for tolerating the time I've spent putting it together!
