Saturday's Astounding Salute!

We were having our evening meal late, so the sunset was competing for my attention and the dinner table lost! Several times I politely excused myself and strolled through the backyard to admire this day's farewell. Moments like this always get my attention.


For the second day in a row, I sat for 6 hours at the Riverside County Office of Education at a teacher's workshop. I mentioned this yesterday, but four of us from the community college are desiring to synchronize our teaching with that of the local high school teachers so that the students who come to us and test into the basic skills courses can hear the same terminology/vocabulary and have a better transition into a college class. This is a four day workshop. In two weeks and again in four weeks we'll all be back on a Saturday for another episode. It is a quality workshop, so I think it is worthwhile.
